Inside Llewyn Davis, 2013 – ★★★½

It was the music that drew me to this film and a couple of week later it’s the music that’s still with me.

I can’t say that Llewyn’s misfortunes had a great emotional impact on me, aside from the disastrous dinner party with the Gorfein’s and the subsequent welcoming of Llewyn back into their home.

What I do know is that it seems significant that like Llewyn I was cold for the duration of the film.

I think this may benefit from a second viewing. Soon.
